the one tape challenge is simple - put a tape in the camera, start filming and keep going until the tape runs out it started as an occasional feature on the BBC's local tv pilot in birmingham and the black country video journalist brady haran now uses it to tell some of his stories on BBC east midlands today - the nightly 6.30pm news for the east midlands of england brady says: "the idea is to simply deal with a topical issue or news story, but tell it in a quirky and fast-paced way "although the hour is obviously edited down to just a few minutes for obvious reasons, the idea is to maintain a raw and pacey feel" |
